Insignia Futures and Options Senior Broker, Mark Oakley, is a results-driven professional with a progressive and successful career in trading, client relations and operations management working with retail, corporate and institutional clients. Mark possesses diverse market knowledge with experience in technical analysis, risk modeling, market forecasting, and hedging. He has been a member of the professional investment community for 30+ years.

Mark has an extensive background as an exchange floor trader. He joined the Insignia Futures and Options team from Citigroup Global Markets, where he was a Vice President and broker on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Additionally, he has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade, as well as other national exchanges.

We feel that Mark’s unique mix of trading experience in the worlds of futures, equities and options lends him an exceptional perspective for investing in the futures and options marketplace. Mark states that he believes that futures and futures option trading will prove to be the superior vehicle for investing in the post Wall Street world of investing.

Sector Focus: Stock Indices (Index and Minis), crude oil (Energy Complex), gold (Metals Complex) and corn (Grains Complex) – however, Mark trades in all market sectors.

Analysis Preference: Mark prefers technical analysis - his own proprietary system developed over a 25-year span of time. Fundamental analysis is factored into his opinions when warranted.
