Effective May 1, 2008, day trade margin requirements have been
reduced to
25% of the exchange minimum initial margin
requirement for all futures markets.
As an example, a market with an initial margin requirement of $1500
will have a day trade margin requirement of only $375.
These new day trade margin levels are automatically set in your account
and will
enable you to take advantage of more trade opportunities.
