The News screen provides live, market new and reports. Simply click on any news or report link to view the entire details of your selection. Also, a streaming News ticker will always be running at the bottom of every screen with the latest stories and reports. Click directly on the News ticker streamer to access the full story or report. You can also search for a specific News story or report by using the search dialog box provided on the News screen.

The Research screen provides daily market reports, free of charge, from highly respected industry analyst, Jim Wyckoff.. Wyckoff's in-depths research includes Daily Market Updates, Top Trading Opportunities and a Bi-Weekly Newsletter. Simply click on the report you wish to review and the report will be displayed in text format.

The Market Info menu has 4 menu tab choices; Symbol Lookup , Contract Specs, Margin Requirements and Margin Calculator .

Symbol Lookup allows you to find the symbol of any tradable futures or futures option and will also display a current live quote for the selected symbol. Simply choose the date & commodity from the pop-up fields and click the 'Futures Quote' button for the futures symbol or 'Composite Options' button for a list of all available strike prices for the given futures options chosen.

Contract Specs will provide complete details on the given commodity entered. Enter the symbol (or use the symbol look up link to find the desired symbol) and click the 'Submit' button. A new screen will display with full details of the chosen commodity.

Margin Requirements* will display the current exchange minimum margin requirements for the tradable commodities listed. Day trade margin requirements are typically set at 25% of the Initial Margin requirement.

Select Margin Calculator* to calculate the margin requirement for any contract. It is primarily designed to provide the margin requirements for short option positions. To use the margin calculator, simply input the appropriate data into each of the fields of the calculator and then press the Submit button. The calculator will then compute the current margin requirements providing both initial and maintenance amounts. There is also an option to calculate a new margin requirement and include it with your current total margin requirements of positions already held in your account. To choose this option, click the "Include Positions In Account" check box prior to calculating a margin requirement. Uncheck the box to exclude your current account positions.

Margins on Short Option positions notice: Margin requirements on short option positions are dynamic and can change on a daily basis. Additionally, the amount of premium collected must also be added to the calculated margin requirement as this collected amount is unrealized profit and cannot be used towards margin requirements.
